Rocker Fergie Frederiksen
and Friends Fight Hepatitis C with
Benefit Concert and Golf Tournament

First Annual Fergie’s RoCk 2005 Scheduled for September

MINNEAPOLIS, August 5, 2005 – Fergie Frederiksen, former lead singer of Toto, will be joined by a host of fellow rock ‘n’ rollers for the first annual Fergie’s RoCk 2005 concert and golf tournament benefiting the Fergie Frederiksen Foundation.

The concert, to be held Sept. 25 at The Metropolitan Ballroom, will feature such legendary performers as Alex Ligertwood, formerly of Santana; Mike Reno of Loverboy; Pat Travers of the Pat Travers Band, Jimi Jamison of Survivor; John Cafferty and “Tunes” of the Beaver Brown Band; Joey Molland of Badfinger and special guest Jim Peterik of the Ides of March. Crowd favorite G.B. Leighton will kick-start the show as the opening act.

The golf tournament will take place Sept. 26 at the beautiful Rush Creek Golf Course. Golfers will compete in a professional-style 18-hole scramble, with each foursome paired with a celebrity golfer. At the end of the tournament participants will enjoy a buffet and awards ceremony followed by more musical entertainment.
