Hi Lloyd,
I haven't written in quite awhile. Just wanted to let you know
that I'm still doing well and still climbing mountains in my beloved
Sierra Nevada and living an active life. I continue to by asymptomatic,
but then, I never had any sx of hcv. Guess I'm lucky that way. It's
probably about time to go have some more labs. I'll let you know
what the results are.
I periodically check in on your message board and you're still
pretty down on doctors as a group. Let me remind you that all of
my MD friends (and I have several) advised me against interferon.
They all told me to wait that something better might come out; but
all were clear that interferon would make me very sick and, most
likely, wouldn't eradicate the virus -- so it was pretty much a
lose-lose proposition: I lose my robust good health and don't lose
the virus. Pretty poor trade, say what??
Take good care and I'll let you know how my viral count is. Last
time it was down to 3 mil from over 17 mil. Maybe this time it will
be down in the hundreds of thousands . . . I assume my LFTs are
still normal.

Hi Ann:
I speak to and email with thousands of people a week. I almost
never hear anything about MDs like you state. You must
have a very good group of friends.
It makes me happy that you are still doing well. I look forward
to reviewing your new lab work.
Keep up the Good Life!
Lloyd
