Lloyd,
I don’t know if you remember me, but I am the oncology; hepatology
(ex unable to work) from charlotte, NC. I am still a sustained responder
what a joke and getting sicker and sicker , but guess what no one
can find anything wrong – except my neuro psyc – I had
a unusual serum ferritin episode.
My was practically no existent. It was a 4 so my brain wasent’
getting iron / oxygen it needed. The doc called me a chevy truck
running on half cylinder.
Since elevated iron is the usual from this treatment and hep this
was totally unexpected on his part. Apparently during treatment
or after who the hell knows since my hep doc ignored my anemia my
body pulled the ferritin stores from my bone marrow.
He says he has to get this normalized before we can fully evauate
what we are left with (or without). This is actually only the second
doc I have trusted since this started. So there again no one evaluated
the treatment or potential devastation.
Thank god for you – through you I have found annie, donna,
and more that have kept me off the ledge
– sincerely betty
