I just started PEG-Interferon w/Ribasphere this week.

Day 1 I had severe muscles contractions, almost couldn't breathe, felt like I was having a heart attack, had 3 blankets on me to control the "freezing" I was experincing and numbness on the right side. I went to (hobbled) to my doctor, who went and looked up symptoms and said all is normal.

Day 3 and I cannot eat or sleep, am terribly anemic, can't stand up for more than 15 minutes at a time, and have terrible pains shooting throughout my body. I am seriously considering stopping this horrible medicine. I cannot see risking almost certain total disability or death. At least I had 4 good days a week, right now it looks like I will not get any. This stuff is not making me suicidal, it's attacking my body. If I wanted to commit suicide, I would keep taking it!
