After my most recent blood tests I got a call from my Dr, probable diabetes. I did a little looking and found HCV can lead to diabetes, I was wondering if you had found this to be true and if you have any advice?

Hi Brian:
I do see that about 10 to 15% of people with hep c develop diabetes.
If people use interferon the number is 20% of the survivors get diabetes from interferon damaging the pancreas.
I suggest that you do not take the prescription the doctor’s offer for this. In stead, take Nopal, it is described on my site.
It works very well.
Also, Lipoic Acid, Pancreas Organic Glandular and or Natcell Pancreas, these items can stop diabetes.
In good health
Lloyd
Thanks Lloyd,
I was on the site earlier looking around and have been doing a lot of research ( than god for the internet) and I agree that some of the meds they offer are less than appealing.
As you may or may not remember I did 35 weeks on Peg Intron and then when my eyes started to go I squirted the syringe down the sink and called it off, within 2 weeks my Viral Load was higher than it had been before, just as you predicited. This was in April 2004.
Now the diabetes raises it's head.
I also had them run a Ferritin check on your suggestion, I will get the numbers tomorrow and will fax the report to you.
Thanks so much
Brian W.
