This is a common scenario so I thought I would use it to warn you of what is coming your way at your local doctor’s office.

One of my clients, John G., a 57 year young male has been on my program for a little over two years. He has accomplished much in improving his health.

John had done a year of Peg Intron, cleared the virus, it came back, well over 20 million, ALT and AST began to go up. Low RBC, WBC Platelets, etc., were all out of range as most are after interferon use.

John went on my program. In a year there was much improvement. In two years most of his numbers were in range or close.

Then John went to his doctor. He was a little depressed. His doctor put him on Zanax.

Then he was experiencing some pain so his doctor put him on Vicodin.

Vicodin was not enough for the pain so his doctor put him on Soma.

This lead to depression so his doctor put him on Wellbutrin, an anti-depressant that I have well documented to raise the viral load and the AST & ALT.

Altogether he is on 5 prescription drugs. I listened to all of this on a conference call with John and his doctor. His doctor insisted that the rise of his AST from 46 to 183 and his ALT form 64 to 324 in little over a month was due to a fatty liver and not his prescription drugs.

The medical community is out of control. Five prescription drugs, in particular these drugs are not correct for anyone with Hepatitis C. I have reported my findings on the use of these drugs in people with Hepatitis C for 7 years.

This type of event is a daily occurrence for me. I just cannot understand why the medical community is so unknowing and non-caring and completely uneducated about the effects of prescription drugs on people with Hepatitis C.
