Funny, if it weren't so true.

I have a recent friend (1a) who went SVR 4 years ago on the old combo like you took. She is fine and healthy now. So I guess SOME people get thru it. But the vast majority on the forums I follow, do relapse or are non-responders, esp if they are 1's or 4's. And they people DO SAY the MD's are clueless about their sides. (Maybe they think there is nothing they can do anyway)

I wish they would take the stuff to see for themselves what the heck they are putting their patients through. I don't wish HCV on them, but they need to be compassionate about this subject.

One girl I talk with from Australia was complaining about fissures in the anus. (where all the toxins are - duh.) The nurse said she never heard of her type of complaints, (she had other sides, headaches, etc.). The girl said that people don't complain about their sides there for fear the docs will take them off of the tx.

BTW, HCV finally made it on TV. Christopher Kennedy Lawford. He is being paid by Roche, but at least the facts of HCV are becoming more and more mainstream. We so need a Michael J Fox for HCV.

Take care,
Chris W.
