Subject: [Advice] post hep c treatment

Hi,

I found your website 12 years to late.  anyway i went thru a year of  the 3 shots of interferon a week and 5 pills of ribavirin a day and feel worse then before i started the treatment. if i knew then what i know now, i never would have started that treatment.

i'm starting to feel like a hypochondriac and fed up going to the doctors for help every time a new ailment comes up. it's the same  old story that they won't admit the drugs that were prescribed for the hep c is what's making me feel this way.

my question,  is there any kind of help or relief out there that will make a  difference?

Hello John,
You have a very similar story as thousands of people. It is a horrible situation to be in and it would be nice if the medical community would extend us the courtesy of telling us this side of the interferon story prior to subjecting us to it. They do not and in fact they treat interferon as a gift from heaven on TV and Radio these days. Here in Los Angles the new drug, telaprevir and boceprevir is being treated like something that actually works. It does not work any better than before and the side effects appear to be worse.

The best I did for myself when I found myself in your situation is stop going to doctors asking for help.  They do not have any.

Time can help some of the side effects.

Taking these supplement can also help:
Omega 3 fish oil, helps stimulate brain function.
NADH, helps neuro transmitters damaged by interferon.
NatCell CNS, can help quite a bit, please read attachment.

Keep in mind that most of the damage inflicted on us from interferon is from Brain Damage.  Interferon also damages bone marrow and nerve cells.

In health,
Lloyd
