Your Question for Lloyd

I just completed 10 weeks of interferon/rybo...Incivik. I am 59 yrs. Everything you said in your book came true. Never so sick,,thought I would die. Dr.took me off because of low red and white blood cells,,,,had two blood transfusions. Been off now for two weeks,,still feel real bad,,all kinds of infections. I see the dr this fri. Don't know what his plans for me now and I will refuse further tx. Could you tell me what herbs and vitamins I should take? I am broke,,have not worked and don't see me going back. I started taking milk thistle and co q 10. I've bought two of your books that have been so honest and helpful. Please, I want my life back .... Only reason I could go to tx was a free clinic...I now feel like a quinsy pig. Thank you deb

Antibiotic Side Effects with Bladder infection

Ceila

Your Question for Lloyd

I have been diagnosed with Hep C since 1996. following your book suggestion I have done 100% better. After liver biopsy, my liver was Great! I have been plagued with cramps, hot flashes, and night sweats, accompanied with kidney or bladder infections..What can I do to help me stop going through antibiotics and their side effects? Thanks for making it easier for me to live with Hep C!

Hep C and Liver Cancer

Hello Lloyd,
I wrote to you a few months back regarding my father Pat who has Hep c and was diagnosed with Liver cancer. The doctors had told him that he had 6 months to a year to live and was put immediately on the liver transplant list. He also went through one treatment of chemo embolization to attack the three tumors that were discovered. Two of the tumors were very small, but one was 4.8 cm and we were told that if it went past 5 cm he would no longer be a candidate for a transplant. He is under the care of a team of doctors at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto California.

Llyod,
I want to thank you for being so open about this experience with interferon.

I am a daughter of a person who went on interferon.  My father was swimming labs, active in the community, and always had tons of energy.  His doctor put him on what she said was more interferon known to man. He was on ALOT of interferon at Hershey Med Center in Pa.  My Dad became very sick. He had personality changes, his hair went straight, sick as a dog, and started doing things he would never do.  Lloyd a couple years after he went off the Interferon he developed waldenstromes macroglogulanemia, which is a Nonhodgkins lymphoma.  The doctors say that its from his Hep C but I think its from all the interferon he was on.  Do you know of any relations between Interferon and lymphoma? Have you ever heard of any corrolation.
