So You Think You're Taking Supplements?

The New York State attorney general’s office accused four national retailers on Monday of selling dietary supplements that were fraudulent and in many cases contaminated with unlisted ingredients.

The authorities said they had run tests on popular store brands of herbal supplements at the retailers — Walmart, Walgreens, Target and GNC — which showed that roughly four out of five of the products contained none of the herbs listed on their labels. In many cases, the authorities said, the supplements contained little more than cheap fillers like rice and house plants, or substances that could be hazardous to people with food allergies.

4 years ago I put my faith in your advice

Dear Lloyd
With delight and gratitude I bring good tidings in our festive season. 4 years ago I had a fibroscan in the 2 to 3 range. In Australia the scale is 1 to 2 , 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 . A reading of 1 being the best and 4 being the worst. At the time of my last scan the specialist predicted in another 5 years I could have a reading of 4 end stage. Which should be right about now.  So 4 years ago I put my faith in your advice and your programs. I have diligently taken many many supplements and consumed countless bottles of thymus in the past 4 years. I have not been back to be tested in this 4 years as I did not want to be distracted by testing and obsessing about results. Not knowing my status at times has been nerve racking and during these years I would sink into times of doubt about how well these herbs were really working.

Natural Awakings Profiles Lloyd Wright

His personal challenges have lead to many health and wellness discoveries that benefit us all

healthy alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs

Lloyd Wright attended UCLA for undergraduate work and continued his formal education at Cal Lutheran University, majoring in administration of justice. His mother was a health food fanatic in the 1950s, and Wright’s longstanding interest in natural medicine was fueled by the death of many members of his immediate family from cancer.

Wright was involved in a tractor accident in 1979 and required four blood transfusions. He contracted hepatitis C and cancer, and was given five years to live. Through extensive research and his studies with the highly regarded Dr. John Finnegan, ND, Wright created a combination of herbal and glandular remedies that cured him completely of the hepatitis.

His successful cure, coupled with the trauma he experienced while in the hands of medical doctors, spurred him to write a book documenting his story and his cure, Triumph Over Hepatitis C, which has received worldwide recognition and is helping thousands of people to heal themselves.

Wright has discovered a number of other techniques that cross into the realm of anti-aging, because these natural and amazingly effective products can turn back the clock for millions whose lifestyle of stress, lousy diets, overconsumption and lack of activity have broken down their health or just put them in a state of chronic fatigue.

Is there a Safe Alternative to Celebrex?

Is there an alternative medicine for celebrex?

Celebrex (celecoxib) belongs to a group of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.

Celebrex is prescribed for the relief of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and and for the management of acute pain in adults.  Many people consider switching to a Celebrex alternative because they are concerned about the possible risks of using COX-2 inhibitors. Often, people assume that other NSAIDs (including non-prescription NSAIDs) are safer. However, it is important to remember that all NSAIDs have been linked to cardiovascular events, such as heart attack or stroke.

Since the use of Celebrex and many of the non-prescription NSAIDs alternatives only treat the symptoms and pain associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis; one alternative to Celebrex that is often overlooked are natural supplements that affect the health issues that cause this pain and inflammation.
