Ron Paul, raw milk & mandatory gun buybacks

Ron PaulIn a Texas straight talk column published yesterday, Ron Paul gave a shout out to Natural News coverage of the raw milk raids still being conducted by armed federal agents.

As Ron Paul points out, the U.S. government has been actively involved in financially supporting and conducting armed raids on raw milk farmers and distributors. This is an extreme abuse of government power and it shows why the government wants U.S. citizens to be completely disarmed. As Ron Paul explains:

While I oppose most gun control proposals, there is one group of Americans I do believe should be disarmed: federal agents. The use of force by federal agents to enforce unjust and unconstitutional laws is one of the major, albeit overlooked, threats to liberty. Too often Americans are victimized by government force simply for engaging in commercial transactions disproved of by Congress and the federal bureaucracy.
For example, the offices of Rawesome Foods in Venice, California, have been repeatedly raided by armed federal and state agents, and Rawesome's founder, 65-year old James Stewart, has been imprisoned. What heinous crime justified this action? Rawesome sold unpasteurized (raw) milk and cheese to willing customers -- in a state where raw milk is legal! You cannot even drink milk from a cow without a federal permit!

3 Reasons 2 Snack on Pumpkin Seeds 4 Those w/ Advanced Hepatitis

By Nicole Cutler, L.Ac.

Once October hits, pumpkins are placed front and center in a majority of American supermarkets, kitchen counters and front porches. The pumpkin's seeds frequently get scooped and tossed when making Jack-O-lanterns or in favor of the gourd's bright orange flesh for pie making. However, pumpkin seeds are virtual nutrient powerhouses that harbor several benefits to people with a chronic illness - especially those with advanced hepatitis.

The FDA Does What?!

Subject: fwd: The FDA does what?

Lloyd--

I am a mom of 4 kids, and I just want the best for them.
So I purchased natural raw foods in local markets and from Amish farmers who traveled down from Pennsylvania.
At least I used to until armed FDA agents stormed into my neighborhood and raided natural food sellers.
They even posed as moms to catch these "criminals."
You see, the FDA thinks they know better than me what’s good for my children, and that’s just plain wrong.

Please take a look at Senator Paul’s email below and sign the petition supporting his amendment to end the FDA’s armed raids.

Best,
Liz
